Up to 300,000 North Koreans are hiding in the underground today. If caught in China, they will be sent back to North Korea where they face imprisonment or execution. Most are looking for an opportunity to escape but are unable to do so because of the impossibility of funding their own journey.
This is where we can help.
LiNK will start with the rescue of 100 refugees because the urgency of the crisis demands that we act quickly. With almost 17,000 refugees that have made it to South Korea, and less than 100 to the US, hundreds of thousands still wait in the underground for an opportunity to escape - we have a chance to respond NOW. We will not stop after 100, merely a number that fails to quantify the value of a human life, but we will begin here.
We cannot do this alone. HELP US with the rescue of the first 100 refugees.
