| The Graphic Design Intern will assist in the development of graphic and other multimedia content for print and web, as well as help brainstorm new campaigns and ideas. This person must have a solid understanding of design principles as well as a knowledge of typography and type control. This person must be experienced in Adobe creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Also, this person must have a solid understanding of web design standards as well as a pre-press and print production. This person should have a passion for using their creative abilities in the human rights field and be able to collaborate in a team but also work without much direction and think independently. This person must be able to handle multiple project and meet deadlines. This position is being offered as a full-time or part-time internship starting on January 9th and ending in May (these dates are subject to change). However, we are looking to extend this position into the summer, so if you are interested in a longer term internship, please let us know on your application.
