Job Title: Spring Tour Nomad
Department: Movement
Location: LiNK HQ in Torrance, CA
Application Deadline: December 1st, 2011
Description:
"Indifference elicits no response. Indifference is not a response. Indifference is not a beginning; it is an end. And, therefore, indifference is always the friend of the enemy, for it benefits the aggressor -- never his victim, whose pain is magnified when he or she feels forgotten. The political prisoner in his cell, the hungry children, the homeless refugees -- not to respond to their plight, not to relieve their solitude by offering them a spark of hope is to exile them from human memory. And in denying their humanity, we betray our own." –Elie Wiesel

Being a nomad is joining a movement bigger than yourself. Nomads give this world a spark of hope while shedding light on one of the most forgotten crises of our generation.

This spring we are sending teams of Nomads to raise awareness about the North Korea crisis. Nomads will venture across North America in vans, taking on all the trials and triumphs of life on the road to share a story that has gone unnoticed for too long. Nomads will also build momentum to fuel the charge for human rights in North Korea.

We are looking for outgoing, motivated and deeply committed individuals who are flexible and can manage living on the road. You will be touring universities, high schools, churches and other venues to reach thousands of individuals. To learn more about the experience, click here.

Applicants should be comfortable speaking in front of large crowds and strongly believe in the mission of LiNK.

This will be a full-time spring internship starting on January 9th 2012 and ending in May (these dates are subject to change). Travel dates will be from the end of February till early May. If these dates conflict with your school start/end date please email jobs@linkglobal.org.

Please look over the application instructions before you apply. You will be required to complete the video portion of the application.

*Note: This is a rolling application process, so early applications will be given priority.
