Description:
This individual will focus on resettlement needs in the U.S. for North Korean refugees. Responsibilities will include research, communicating with and managing refugees in the U.S., contributing to the development and implementation of new initiatives, supervising and overseeing a local education/mentorship program for North Korean children, and liaising with the Director of Field Operations as well as the President.  The position may also involve some domestic travel.

The ideal candidate would have Korean language skills, experience working with refugees, a strong interest in U.S. refugee resettlement, and some type of background in policy, social work or case management. This individual should work well with a team, be creative and easily connect with others.

This position is being offered as a full-time or part-time internship starting on January 9th and ending in May (these dates are subject to change). However, we are looking to extend this position into the summer, so if you are interested in a longer term internship, please let us know on your application.
